Lazada is one of the biggest online store in Malaysia. I have plenty of shopping experience at Lazada. Most of the times, orders shipped accordingly. Except twice this month, where my order did not shipped and the other one, Lazada cancelled my order.
So out of hundreds transactions I did at Lazada, only this month I had bad experience.
Once, I ordered a digital scale (to weight items as small as 0.1 gram). After about two weeks, the seller still did not ship my order. At the end, Lazada refunded my money.
Second, I ordered a dishwasher. A Beko brand, which insanely priced at RM 1099. Usually a dishwasher cost at least RM2,300 in Malaysia. So I ordered and they got my money. In less than 24 hours, Lazada decline my order and process the refund within 48 hours. That’s kind of suck!
If we do shopping at supermarkets, when the display price is lower than barcode price, we will pay for the cheaper price at the cashier. But, at Lazada, they have option to give back your money. That’s one of the disadvantage of shopping at Lazada where you don’t really have rights for the price shown at their website. I think, that’s sound unethical.
Anyway, hopefully Lazada will be more careful next time. I shouldn’t blame Lazada, because the mistake is done by the sellers I guess.
